Keep sending those applications in and Charlotte and I will review them and choose the best candidate for the position. We will choose our new co-web on July 1st, 2007.

I'm looking for a new dedicated co-web for Amy-fan.org and I was wondering if anyone with the following would be interested. Running a fan site is a hard task, and we need as many people as possible.

You must be good with:
- Proper English Skills (no run ons or misspelled works)
- FTP
- Basic HTML (i mean, really basic)
- the Public
- Coppermine Photogallery
- Cutenews

(If you don't know most of these, it's not that big of a deal as long as you can write a proper article or paragraph -- I can teach you at a fairly fast pace)

You'll Get:
- yourname@amy-fan.org (email address)
- exclusive Access to staff only resources
- an awesome new friend :D

It would be great if you could make graphics (100x100 avatars, 100x35 buttons, and signatures for the fan art section), upload various videos for the upcoming media center, and mod at the upcoming forums.

Contact me at my email address for more information! It is jamie[remove this]@amy-fan.org

• Beth Ditto: The New Amy Lee?
Filed Under Site Updates on 14 Jun 2008 | 1 Comments
Originally published by NWANews.com!

Beth Ditto is the new Amy Lee. Not so long ago, Amy Lee of Evanescence was the ascendant Arkansas-born rock queen with a woeful if supple voice, a lifetime supply of black eyeliner, clothes with way too many zippers and a penchant for delivering occasionally blistering quotes. (“ I was so happy where I was, and then we moved, ” she once recalled of relocating to central Arkansas at age 13. “Why did we have to come to this podunk town ?” And on her band’s spiritual roots, a connection that led many fans to discover them: “Can we please skip the Christian thing ? I’m so over it. It’s the lamest thing. I never wanted to be associated with it.” )

By contrast, Ditto, a native of Kensett in White County, is outrageous in a way that is all her own. The signature sound of her band, Gossip, darlings of the British pop-punk scene and beginning to seep in here, endeared her to recording-industry kingmaker Rick Rubin and calls to mind a mirrored disco ball smashed to shards, glued back together and wielded like a medieval morning star on a flail. The Portland, Ore.-based diva, whose Gossip albums include Standing in the Way of Control and the compendium Live in Liverpool, makes flamboyant fashion choices for her plus size that have made her an ascendant style icon as well. “In elementary school,” she has said of her Arkansas upbringing, “I was the only kid in school who knew who Todd Oldham was.” All right — we’ll give her that one. But did she really have to go here: “OK, here’s a story I always tell. The first time I ever got stoned was with my cousin. We were like 13 and 14. We smoked out of a Coke can, and then he... took out his BB gun and started shooting outside. I was like, ‘What are you doing ?’ And he’s like, ‘What do you mean ?’ And I look out the door and he’s shooting squirrels. And then he goes and gets them, skins them, and fries them up, because he has the munchies.” 7. Pottery Barn is the new Payless. What’s the difference between pulling up to a strip mall and pulling up to a “lifestyle center” in the style of The Promenade at Chenal, Shackleford Crossing or Midtowne, all in Little Rock, and Rogers’ Pleasant Crossing ? Trick question. Car-detailing costs the same whether you’re mopping up Red Bull toppled by parking lot potholes or Starbucks spilled bouncing across faux-cobblestone.

Why do we need a new one when Amy is still alive and kicking -- Plus, if she was the new Amy, she'd also have to be the new Lindsay and Britney cause there's too much of Beth to go around (I kid, I kid -- Beth's amazing in her own right)

"Breakdown" is about Amy Lee, isn't it?

Yes, it is. But it's not as vicious as written by her Call Me When your Sober.
She didn't even pretend, she's talking about someone another and shown she thinks I'm a piece of shit.
She told the world... 'Wow - I thought- Well Done!' I had to bare it, but I didn't want to do it the same way, didn't want to heat up the confrontation.

I don't think he remembers the pictures above. Was he drunk? What? ... Just saying. Take it for what its worth.
